Pharmacy Practice Residency Program
The Pharmacy Practice Residency Program at Mercy Health Partners believes that pharmacists can and must have an active role in patient care within the health system. This program offers a positive atmosphere to learn and grow professionally by providing opportunities to teach, to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and provide direct patient care. Our residency program at Mercy Health Partners is designed to train pharmacists in central hospital pharmacy and nursing unit-based clinical pharmacy practice. The program prides itself on molding rotations to meet individual resident educational goals, building on the foundation of advanced clinical pharmacy practice. Graduates of the program have successfully pursued clinical, staff, and managerial roles in various health systems throughout the Midwest.

Do You Have a Desire to Teach?
In addition to the listed rotations, you will have the chance to explore academia via our affiliation with Ferris State University. The Pharmacy Education Development and Lecture Series allows residents to work with preceptors and Ferris faculty to gain experience in teaching and learning. Furthermore, as a teaching facility, you may lecture to nurses, mid-level providers, and medical residents, which will open the doors to academia in other professional curriculums.
